Herts TKD 'Team Competition' (St Albans)

A 'Junior Team Competition' is organised once a year for teams consisting of three competitors of similar grades. The ultimate team event will be Spirit TKD vs Colney Heath TKD. These two teams will consist of five competitors.

If you are interested in entering a team, start your preparations now!

So far, there is no plan to run a team competition this year which is usually run in June

Herts TKD 'Individual Competition' (St Albans)

We offer the beginner to advanced students a chance to test their skills against other students of a similar ability before attending one of the larger national competitions.

This years' competition is provisionally booked for Sunday 7th October 2018

Venue: Greenwood Park Leisure Centre, Tippendell Lane, Chiswell Green,  AL2 3HW
Time: 9.30am - 5.00pm (approx.)

Taekwon-Do Impact Competition

For the experienced competitor, larger competitions are available to test their skills at a higher level. European and World Champions conduct seminars specifically for those wishing to participate in these competitions. For the more experienced Black belt students, they have the opportunity to travel abroad and compete at European and World level.

Spirit TKD have had several students, who have been selected to represent their National Team abroad, visiting countries such as: Puerto Rico, Finland, Croatia, Italy & Germany, to name but a few countries.

ITF England Competition

This is the ultimate competition for the serious competitor. It is at this competition, your skills will be really tested. The England coaches will be looking for champions of the future. Various squad sessions are held to encourage the dedicated student into becoming an England Champion and a good role model for other students.

Spirit TKD have had various members, male and female that have been selected for the England team. Chris Geddie (Junior, III Degree) is the most recent student to be selected (2016).
